Episode Seventeen: Tink Yarn & New Mexico

This week is all about reviews! The Godflocker took a yarny trip to New Mexico, so we'll hear all about that and the two designs he created from his desert inspiration! Next, a review of Tink Yarns, a lovely company from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brick's first yarn conquest was a Santa Fe shop, Yarn and Coffee. He visited Miriam's Well, whose proprietress runs the Santa Fe School of Weaving. If you visit New Mexico, be sure to stop by the Espanola Valley Fiber Arts Center! Another great weaving resource is Tierra Wools.

If you're looking for some fun commercial yarns, check out Tink Yarn. They do a fantastic job of hand dyeing Superwash Merino that is squishy, lofty, and fun to work with! One skein of their worsted weight will knit up The Godflocker's Abiquiu Hat, named after his favorite stop in New Mexico! The pattern will be available soon. In the meantime, head over to Instagram and enter this week's giveaway!

The Shepherdess Shawl kit is now available in the Ballyhoo Fiber Emporium shop! Buy today - once they're gone, they're gone!

Side note, I did get As and Bs in all my other classes. :-)
